The 20th Congress of the International Chamber of Commerce meets in New Delhi on the 8th February 1965, to discuss ‘World Progress Through Partnership’. The Congress is held every two years and is a meeting ground for representatives of the leading industrial, commercial and financial enterprises of the world. The last Congress was held in Mexico in the year 1963.

On this historic occasion when the Congress of the ICC is being held for the first time in India, the Posts & Telegraphs Departments is glad to bring out a commemoration stamp. The motif adopted for the design of the stamp is the crest of the ICC on the left with the globe on the right.
